When Baillie Gifford first established their presence in Hong Kong at One IFC in 2015, MYN Studio provided consultation services to the client, advising them to optimise their construction costs and prioritise investments in ergonomic furniture to promote healthy work postures. This recommendation was made because of the short-term lease period offered by the landlord, which we believed would render a lavish construction fit-out wasteful. To our surprise, Baillie Gifford remained at One IFC for five years until the space was no longer suitable for accommodating their expanding operations. In late 2020, MYN Studio was privileged to oversee the relocation of Baillie Gifford to the esteemed Two IFC Tower. Working closely with the UK board members, MYN Studio delivered an elevated design scheme that met the client’s sophisticated standards.
