In 2019, Wework made a strategic decision to expand its shared office concept to multiple locations in Hong Kong. MYN Studio collaborated with Karen Cheung Project Management and a general contractor, and successfully secured the prime location at Sunlife Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui through a competitive tender process. The project involved a comprehensive scope of work, encompassing six full floors, spanning a total area of 118,800 square feet. Wework provided its own corporate design guidelines, which needed to be implemented into Sunlife Tower’s architectural conditions. In addition to its design implementation capabilities, MYN Studio served as an advisor for space efficiency, safety and design regulations and measurements, technical design detailing, and construction processes. The team’s problem-solving and solution-oriented approach was critical to leading the project to success within the targeted time frame.
